1. Disconnect a connected provider
Creators with a connected provider can use the provider controls in Creator Settings. Choosing Disconnect ends Biffluence's active authorization for that provider, invalidates the connected-account verification state, and removes creator-authorized analytics from the active provider record.
Where the provider supports remote token revocation, Biffluence attempts to revoke the provider authorization through the official provider mechanism. If a temporary provider or network failure prevents immediate remote revocation, Biffluence marks the authorization for retry and applies an internal deletion deadline so the local credential is not retained indefinitely.
2. Delete stored provider data
Creators can choose Delete provider data in Creator Settings where that control is available. This removes provider-specific stored evidence and intelligence associated with the creator-owned connected identity in addition to disconnecting the provider authorization.
Deleting provider data from Biffluence does not delete the creator's account, profile, channel, videos, posts, or other content from YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, or another third-party platform.
3. YouTube data deletion
For connected YouTube accounts, disconnecting YouTube causes Biffluence to revoke or attempt to revoke the applicable Google authorization, clear creator-authorized YouTube analytics from the connected creator record, invalidate ownership verification, and remove applicable Biffluence data-sharing permissions.
You may separately view or revoke Biffluence's Google authorization through Google Account permissions.
YouTube public API data that is not creator-authorized is separately governed by YouTube's API data-refresh and retention requirements and may be refreshed or deleted by Biffluence even if the creator has never created a Biffluence account.
4. TikTok data deletion
TikTok capabilities are enabled only after the applicable TikTok approval. When creator-authorized TikTok functionality is available, Biffluence will provide provider-specific disconnection and deletion controls consistent with the permissions granted by the creator and the TikTok product in use.
A user may also request deletion of TikTok-sourced data by emailing hello@biffluence.com. Include the Biffluence account email and enough information for us to identify the connected account. Do not send passwords or access tokens.
5. Snapchat data deletion
Snapchat capabilities are enabled only after the applicable Snap approval. When creator-authorized Snap functionality is available, Biffluence will provide provider-specific disconnection and deletion controls consistent with the creator's authorization and Snap's applicable requirements.
A user may request deletion of Snapchat-sourced data by emailing hello@biffluence.com.
6. Request deletion of your Biffluence account
To request deletion of your Biffluence account, email hello@biffluence.com with the subject line Delete My Biffluence Account. We may ask you to verify account ownership before completing the request.
Account deletion includes removal or de-identification of personal information and connected-provider authorizations that Biffluence no longer needs, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, contractual, tax, dispute, and audit obligations.
7. Information that may be retained
Deleting provider data or an account does not necessarily require Biffluence to erase every record immediately where retention is permitted or required. Limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law, court orders, or regulatory obligations.
- Maintain fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, security, or audit records.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Preserve records of completed commercial arrangements or consent where legally necessary.
- Maintain de-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify the user.
Retained records are not used to reconstruct deleted creator-authorized provider analytics.
8. Email deletion requests
If self-service controls are unavailable or you cannot access your account, send a request to hello@biffluence.com. State the provider involved, the Biffluence account email, and whether you are requesting provider-data deletion or full Biffluence account deletion.
